Statistical range, not a prediction
Nobody can predict the price of Monero, and any site that publishes a target number is guessing. What can be measured is how much XMR has actually moved. The ranges below come from its realised volatility of 82.6% over the past year, with no assumed direction — the midpoint is simply today's price.
| Horizon | Likely (~68%) | Wider (~95%) | Move |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30 days | $426 – $684 | $336 – $866 | ±23.7% |
| 90 days | $358 – $813 | $238 – $1,225 | ±41.0% |
| 180 days | $302 – $964 | $169 – $1,721 | ±58.0% |
Read as: if XMR keeps moving the way it has, roughly two days in three land inside the narrow band and about 19 in 20 inside the wide one. Volatility clusters, so calm periods understate risk and turbulent ones overstate it. This is arithmetic on past prices — not advice, and not a forecast. XMRList is not a financial adviser.

Supply and emission
Monero has no fixed supply cap, which surprises people used to Bitcoin's 21 million. The main emission curve ended in May 2022, and since then every block has paid a flat 0.6 XMR tail emission that never stops. This is deliberate: it guarantees miners are paid forever rather than relying on fee markets alone. Because the reward is constant while the supply grows, the percentage issuance falls every year and approaches zero without ever reaching it.
