Hashrate as reported by each pool’s public API, compared with network hashrate (difficulty ÷ 120 s). Pools report averages over different windows, so shares move a few percent between refreshes. “Other” covers solo miners and pools without a public API.

Questions people ask

Which Monero mining pool is the biggest?
SupportXMR reports 1.84 GH/s, about 30.7% of network hashrate right now. The table on this page updates every 10 minutes from each pool’s public API.
Why does pool concentration matter?
A pool operator chooses which transactions go into blocks. One operator controlling more than half the hashrate could censor transactions or attempt double spends. Spreading hashrate across many pools, or using decentralised P2Pool, keeps Monero resilient.
What is the Nakamoto coefficient?
The smallest number of pools that together exceed 50% of hashrate. Higher is better. P2Pool chains count as pools here, although no single operator controls them.
How can I help decentralise Monero mining?
Mine on P2Pool (no operator, 0% fee, payouts straight to your wallet) or, if you prefer a classic pool, choose one of the smaller ones rather than the largest.
