How to Use Xeovo VPN and Stealth Proxies with Monero: Setup, Prices and When You Need Them

Short answer: Xeovo is a Finnish VPN that you can buy with Monero and sign up for without an email address. Alongside regular WireGuard and OpenVPN connections, it sells stealth proxies built for networks where ordinary VPNs get blocked. Plans start at €4.99 for one month, drop to €2.99 a month on a yearly plan, and cover up to five devices. This guide covers how it works, how to pay in XMR, and when to pick the VPN or the stealth proxy.

This is a sponsored guest post. Xeovo paid for it and checked the facts about its product; XMRList wrote it and kept the final edit. Prices and features were taken from xeovo.com in October 2026.

What Xeovo offers

Xeovo is a small, independent VPN company run by Xeovo Oy in Finland. It says it has no venture capital or outside shareholders and is bootstrapped. Its network is deliberately modest: about 60 servers in 27 countries, which the company frames as quality over quantity. You can see every location and its current state on the public status page.

An account includes two kinds of connection:

  • A standard VPN over WireGuard or OpenVPN, the two protocols supported by nearly every operating system and router.
  • Stealth proxies that disguise your traffic so it looks like ordinary web browsing. Xeovo lists Shadowsocks, VLESS, VMess, Trojan, Hysteria2 and AmneziaWG among the protocols it supports for this.

Every account also gets DNS-based blocking of ads and trackers, so the filtering happens before a page loads, on every device that uses the connection.

VPN or stealth proxy: which one to use

For most people, the WireGuard VPN is the right default. It is fast, light on battery and simple to set up. The stealth proxy exists for a narrower but important problem: networks that actively detect and block VPN traffic.

Some governments and network operators recognise VPN protocols by the shape of their traffic and cut them off, even when they cannot read what is inside. This is common in countries such as China, Iran and Russia, and on some corporate and campus networks. Stealth protocols such as VLESS, Trojan and Shadowsocks wrap your connection so it resembles normal encrypted web traffic, which makes it much harder to single out.

A simple rule of thumb:

  • Use the VPN at home, on public Wi-Fi, and anywhere VPNs are not blocked.
  • Switch to a stealth proxy when the VPN fails to connect or keeps dropping, especially when travelling or living somewhere with heavy internet censorship.

How to buy Xeovo with Monero

Xeovo takes Monero, Bitcoin, Litecoin and cash, as well as cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. For privacy, Monero is the strongest choice: unlike a card or PayPal, it doesn't link your VPN subscription to your name or bank, and unlike Bitcoin, the payment isn't visible on a public ledger.

  1. Pick a plan on the pricing page.
  2. Create an account without an email. Xeovo doesn't ask for one, so nothing ties the account to your inbox. Store your login details in a password manager, since there is no email address to recover them through.
  3. Choose Monero at checkout and send the exact amount shown from your wallet, such as Feather, Cake Wallet or Monero GUI.
  4. Wait for confirmation. Once the payment confirms, the plan is active and you can download your configuration.

If you don't hold XMR yet, you can swap other coins into Monero through one of the instant swap services listed on XMRList, or buy it peer to peer.

6 months€3.99€23.94 every 6 months
12 months€2.99€35.88 yearly

Every plan includes up to five simultaneous devices, the stealth proxies and ad blocking. There is no free trial, but Xeovo offers a 30-day money-back guarantee; refunds are requested through a support ticket. Plans renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time.

Setting it up

On a computer or phone

Because Xeovo uses standard protocols, you don't need a proprietary app. Install the official WireGuard client (Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS), import the configuration file or scan the QR code from your Xeovo account, and connect. OpenVPN works the same way with any OpenVPN client.

For a stealth proxy, use a client that supports the protocol you picked, for example a VLESS/Trojan-capable client on Android or desktop. Xeovo publishes setup guides for each one on its community hub.

On a router

Running the VPN on your router covers every device in the house, including smart TVs and consoles that can't run a VPN themselves. Xeovo supports many router models and has step-by-step router guides with videos. Routers running OpenWrt or similar firmware usually support WireGuard out of the box.

Privacy and trust

Any VPN asks you to trust it, so it helps to know what Xeovo says and what you can check:

  • No logs. Xeovo states a strict no-logs policy and publishes annual transparency reports on its hub.
  • No email or personal details are needed to sign up, and paying in Monero or cash keeps payment details out of the picture too.
  • No trackers or analytics on its website, according to the company.
  • Finland-based. The company is registered there as Xeovo Oy.
  • Tor access. The site links to an onion address for people who prefer to reach it over Tor.

No-logs claims are hard for anyone outside a company to prove, so treat them like any provider's promise. What you can control yourself is how much identifying information you hand over, and with no email and a Monero payment, that's very little.

Community and support

Xeovo runs a community forum, hub.xeovo.com, where it publishes guides, tutorials and tips, and where users swap setups. It is the first place to look for router configurations, stealth proxy walkthroughs and protocol advice for specific countries. Support is handled by ticket.

Who Xeovo is a good fit for

  • People who want a VPN they can pay for in Monero or cash, with no email on file.
  • Travellers and residents in countries that block VPNs and need a stealth option in the same subscription.
  • Households that want to protect every device by running the VPN on a router.

It is a less obvious fit if you need hundreds of server locations or a free trial. Its network is deliberately smaller than the big commercial VPNs, and it offers a money-back guarantee instead of a trial.

FAQ

Can I pay for Xeovo with Monero?

Yes. Monero is one of Xeovo's payment options, alongside Bitcoin, Litecoin, cash and cards.

Do I need an email address to sign up?

No. Xeovo doesn't require an email address to create an account.

How many devices can I use?

Up to five devices at the same time on every plan.

Does Xeovo work in countries that block VPNs?

That is what the stealth proxies are for. They disguise traffic as normal web browsing using protocols such as VLESS, Trojan and Shadowsocks. No tool can guarantee access everywhere, but stealth protocols are much harder to block than standard VPN traffic.

Is there a free trial?

No, but there is a 30-day money-back guarantee.
